We think a PAVILION that create a new LANDSCAPE in Venice, an “ARCIPELAGO”, thinking about this as TOPOLOGICAL space characterized from spaces and connections – HISTORY, TRADITION, INNOVATION.
A dialogue, a form of contact. That is, the idea that there is a connection, an optic nerve, which connects individual feeling to the soul of the world and its physical reality. So, as Architects, we can realise how extraordinarily extensive are the good fortune we have to respect and the duty we have to carry out. The soul that is within the things in territory is so deep that it is our destiny is to live up to it.
The idea of PAVILION as GENEALOGY VS IDENTITY, representative of HISTORY, TRADITION, INNOVATION, contains the essence of language as a means of expression of the “speaking body of architecture” we are looking for.
